Cotton Belt Trail This 57-mile trail is designed as a regional expressway for active transportation, serving cyclists, pedestrians, and other nonmotorized users. It is a partnership between NCTCOG, the RTC, DART, Dallas County, and local municipalities. There are three major segments in Addison, Texas.
Celestial Park Entrance Improvements The Celestial Park Entrance and Lighting Improvements project is a comprehensive effort to resolve erosion and safety issues, improve accessibility, and create a more inviting and sustainable entrance to one of Addison’s key parks. The project is fully funded and scheduled for completion in FY2026, with a strong emphasis on community input and high-quality, context-sensitive design.
Beltway Trail and Bike Lane Improvements As part of Phase 1 of the City-Wide Trails Master Plan adopted in May 2021, the Beltway Trail project will create a connected trail system from Marsh Road to Belt Line Road. Planned improvements include buffered bike lanes (Marsh to Midway), a bicycle boulevard (Midway to Belt Line), and a new greenspace south of Addison Grove along Beltway, shaped by community input.

Additional enhancements to plantings, site furnishings, streetscape features, and site infrastructure were identified to support the park’s long-term sustainability and overall visitor experience.
