Addison Art Program Features Elijah Hanif

The Addison Art Gallery features Painting with Light by Elijah Hanif. Born and raised in South Florida, Elijah is a self-taught photographer with a strong affinity for wildlife, landscapes, cityscapes, and nature. As the son of a journalist and a fiber artist, creative expression was a prominent influence throughout his childhood.

Council Holds Strategic Planning Workshop

On Friday, January 30, the City Council, along with the City Manager, Deputy City Managers, and Directors, spent the day at Abilene Christian University's Addison campus for a strategic planning workshop to set goals for 2026. The Council will discuss and adopt key focus areas that will serve as the foundation for the budget process at upcoming City Council Meetings.

City Council Revisits Advance Addison Comprehensive Plan

City Council will consider adoption of the Advance Addison Comprehensive Plan at its regular meeting following a public hearing on Tuesday, February 10. The plan has been reviewed during multiple City Council Work Sessions and received unanimous approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission on October 21, 2025, with minor clarifying edits.
