The Town of Addison has been recognized as a recipient of the 41st Annual Governor’s Volunteer Awards, administered by OneStar and the Texas Commission on Volunteerism and National Service. This prestigious award is the highest honor for volunteerism in Texas, celebrating organizations that mobilize people to serve and strengthen their communities.

The Community Champion award recognizes groups that lead the way in civic engagement by making volunteerism more accessible and impactful. Award recipients demonstrate a commitment to addressing community needs through meaningful initiatives, outreach programs, and collaborative partnerships.

A special thank you to our Volunteer Coordinator, Suchi Rao, for her dedication and hard work in making Addison’s volunteer efforts a success!
