Thank you for your patience with the set-up, tear-down, and temporary road closures required to safely bring Addison Kaboom Town! to life in Addison Circle Park.

This year’s celebration brings flights, sights, and an amazing night! To keep everyone safe during preparations and clean-up, the Special Events team encourages guests to explore nearby parks instead of Addison Circle Park during those times. Great nearby options include Spruill, Bosque, Beckert, and Parkview Parks.

Road Closures:

All roads (unless otherwise noted) are scheduled to re-open by 3 am on Friday, July 4.

Monday, June 30

  • Festival Way (Addison Road to Quorum Drive) closes at 8 am.

Wednesday, July 2

  • Addison Circle Drive (Addison Road to Witt Place) closes at 8 am.

Thursday, July 3

All closures begin at 11 am unless otherwise noted:

  • McEntire Place (Quorum Drive to Lewis Place)
  • Quorum Drive (Arapaho Road to Morris Avenue)
  • Witt Place (south of the public parking garage entrance)
  • Northbound Quorum Drive (Edwin Lewis Drive to Arapaho Road)
  • Lindbergh Drive closes at 1 pm and is expected to re-open by 10:30 pm, following the fireworks.

Please note that the popularity of the Addison Kaboom Town! fireworks show may result in traffic delays around the event site and throughout Addison, particularly following the fireworks show.
