On Thursday, April 2, at the request of the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), a statewide test of emergency alerting systems will occur between 10am and 12:30pm. As part of this drill, local jurisdictions across Texas may test systems used to notify the public during emergencies.This will only be a test. No emergency action is required.

As part of the Fiscal Year 2026 budget development process, Addison’s City Council recently reviewed the Town’s proposed Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The CIP outlines investments in critical infrastructure, including roads, parks, trails, utilities, stormwater, and airport improvements.
Highlights include major projects like the continued reconstruction of Quorum Drive, Montfort Drive, and Keller Springs Road; trail enhancements; improvements to Addison Circle Park; and investments in water, sewer, and stormwater systems. Council also reviewed one-time projects such as Addison Circle District paver replacement and beautification, Bosque Park restoration, and upgrades to public safety facilities and equipment.
