At its April 8 meeting, the Addison City Council approved a Special Use Permit for Batbox, an indoor baseball-inspired entertainment venue and restaurant, to open its first U.S. location in Village on the Parkway. Batbox will feature 10 state-of-the-art batting simulators and a 13,000-square-foot sports bar offering food and beverages. Construction is expected to take approximately 20 weeks, with an anticipated opening in August 2025.
