At the September 22 City Council meeting, Mayor Bruce Arfsten presented a proclamation to Police Chief Chris Freis, Fire Chief CJ Alexander, Recreation Superintendent Brian Chapin, and Recreation Manager Anna Weir recognizing October 6 as National Night Out in Addison.
National Night Out is a community‑building campaign that promotes police‑community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Texas communities celebrate on the first Tuesday in October.
Addison’s event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30pm on October 6 at Les Lacs Park and will feature family‑friendly activities, first responders and Town staff, food, and music.
