At the April 28 meeting, the City Council approved a professional services agreement with Cobb, Fendley and Associates, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $164,075 to complete an impact study for the Mary Kay campus and the surrounding 33-acre redevelopment area.

It was announced in March that Mary Kay was “exploring the sale” of its Addison headquarters and that Cushman & Wakefield had been retained to market the property for large-scale redevelopment. This impact study will provide a clear, consistent understanding of existing infrastructure, including stormwater, water, wastewater, franchise utilities, and traffic, as well as future needs based on the Advance Addison 2050 Comprehensive Plan. It will serve as a resource for Town staff and prospective developers as plans for the property take shape.
