At its June 9 meeting, the City Council approved a Special Use Permit for Insomnia Cookies, located at 5000 Belt Line Road, Suite 430, allowing the business to extend its operating hours. The cookie shop may now remain open until 1 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, helping it better serve Addison's late-night dining and entertainment crowd.
Insomnia Cookies opened earlier this year and offers freshly baked cookies for takeout and delivery. The business does not serve alcohol, and any future request to add on-site alcohol sales would require additional Town approval.
