At its June 9 meeting, the City Council approved an amendment to the Planned Development zoning for the Aberdeen Building, located at 14841 North Dallas Parkway.

The amendment expands the range of permitted commercial uses within the existing building, providing greater flexibility to attract tenants and respond to changing market conditions. The first floor of this building was once the Pizza Hut test kitchen. Newly permitted uses include personal services, retail sales, indoor recreation, medical clinics, banks and financial institutions, daycare centers, vocational schools, and data centers, with several uses subject to specific operational standards or additional approvals.

No changes to the building, parking, landscaping, or site layout are proposed as part of the amendment.
