The City Council received a high-level update from Airport Director Jaime Edrosa on Addison Airport’s performance through the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2026 during an April 7 presentation. The report noted that total aircraft operations remained steady compared to FY2025, with 32,444 operations recorded in Q1, alongside continued strength in international activity, including 166 flights cleared through customs and global reach as far as Osaka, Japan. Fuel flowage increased by 11% and total revenue saw a 1.1% year-over-year gain.

The update also highlighted ongoing capital improvements, redevelopment activity, and progress on the Airport Master Plan. Looking ahead, FY2026 priorities include advancing the master planning process, increasing airport engagement with tenants and stakeholders, and making improvements to the existing fuel farm to enhance safety and efficiency. Additional focus areas include completing the design of Taxiway Bravo Extension Phase II and supporting major facility redevelopment projects such as Sky Harbour Phase II, Atlantic Aviation Hangar #2, and RASA hangar construction.
