At its July 14 meeting, the City Council approved new Addison Orbit fares that simplify pricing while reducing costs for many riders. Beginning with the new fare structure on July 20, adults and seniors will pay $1.50 per ride, children 12 and under will continue to ride free, and riders will have the option to purchase discounted ride bundles and monthly passes.

The updated fares follow the Council's July 7 discussion about the future of Addison Orbit and ongoing collaboration with DART, which is expected to fund the service for one year following completion of the current pilot program.
