At the April 28 City Council Meeting, Fire Chief CJ Alexander presented the Addison Fire Department’s 2025 Annual Report, highlighting key achievements and performance metrics from the past year
In 2025, AFD responded to 3,677 service calls, with an average response time in Addison of 4 minutes and 5 seconds, well below the national standard and that of Addison's neighboring cities. Chief Alexander shared updates on community outreach programs, training, emergency preparedness efforts, and the department’s continued focus on safety, service, and innovation.
