The Addison Police Department (APD) has launched a new Community Camera Program in collaboration with Flock Safety, inviting residents and businesses to register their security cameras. By sharing the locations of their cameras with the APD, participants can help enhance public safety and aid in criminal investigations. Registered cameras are not live-streamed, and investigators only request access to video footage if an incident occurs nearby.
Similar programs around the country have strengthened community safety by enabling law enforcement to gather crucial evidence quickly during emergencies. Participating supports Addison's commitment to a secure, connected community. Learn more or register your camera by visiting Addison Community Camera Program.
