Addison City Council Votes Not to Have DART Withdrawal Election

The Addison City Council has decided not to move forward with a May election for voters to determine if DART should be continued in the Town of Addison.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Town of Addison, Texas, on December 9, 2025, at a meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. local time (CT), regarding the proposed issuance by the Public Finance Authority of its revenue bonds in one or more series from time to time pursuant to a plan of financing, in an amount to be issued with respect to the Project described.

Council Discusses Quorum Drive Reconstruction Project

At its November 18 meeting, the Council approved a nearly $400K design change order with Teague Nail and Perkins related to the Quorum Drive Reconstruction Project. They also provided direction on several key refinements, including keeping the road four lanes instead of having a two-way cycle track and preserving on-street parking north of Belt Line Road.
