Council Approves Celestial Park Entrance Improvements

At its September 8 meeting, the City Council approved a $261,081 construction agreement with APR Group, Inc. for improvements to the southeast entrance of Celestial Park and established a total project budget of $288,416.72.

Council Approves Rosewood Multifamily Redevelopment

At its September 8 meeting, the City Council approved a rezoning request from Rosewood Property Company for 6.18 acres at 4325 and 4559 Belt Line Road, east of Midway Road. The property currently includes a Motel 6, a former Denny’s that has been vacant since approximately 2010, and an undeveloped parcel.

Council Adopts Fiscal Year 2027 Budget and Tax Rate

At its September 8 meeting, the Addison City Council adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Budget and property tax rate. The FY 2027 budget runs from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027.
