City Council approved a Planned Development amendment for Village on the Parkway during the May 26 meeting, paving the way for The Escape Game to open an interactive escape room experience at 5100 Belt Line Road in Village on the Parkway.

Addison Orbit Pilot Program To Continue

During its May 26 work session, the City Council discussed the future of mobility and microtransit services in Addison following voters’ decision to remain a member of DART. Finding a first-mile/last-mile mobility solution has been part of the Town’s Strategic Plan since 2020 to support connectivity and Silver Line access.

New Council Members Sworn in at May 12 Council Meeting

The Addison City Council officially canvassed the results of the May 2 elections, which saw record voter turnout. Chris DeFrancisco, Darren Gardner, and Schnell Blanton were elected to serve on Council. Voters approved the $55 million bond proposition to fund new police facilities. Residents also voted for Addison to remain a member of DART.
