Economic Development

Addison is a bustling town alive with entrepreneurial spirit where small start-ups to major corporations and corporate regional offices are headquartered including Mary Kay Cosmetics, United Surgical Partners, Hilton International, USAA, Zurich America, Behringer Harvard, Mohr Partners, Holt Lunsford, and Glazer's Family of Companies, just to name a few. The town has over 9 million square feet of quality office space throughout the community that incorporate lush landscaping.

Despite Addison's four-square mile area and 14,000 nighttime population, the town draws over 100,000 people from the entire North Texas Region to work and do business here. Local companies have been able to cultivate a diverse, highly-skilled labor force ready to meet the opportunities of growing and expanding companies. Because of its daytime population, Addison is more of a boardroom community than a bedroom community.

Addison is open for business and ready to work with companies searching for the ideal location to establish their operation. Our Town Council formalized an incentive policy to help close deals and ensure that the community is competitive for corporate relocations as well as local business expansions. Our aim is to ensure the success of our local businesses.  When a company establishes operations in Addison, we work with them to provide them the local resources to ensure their continued success for many years.
