Darren Gardner

Darren Gardner is a lifelong Texan and has called the Metrocrest area home for over 30 years, with the last eight years in Addison.  After many years with TU Electric, Microsoft, and ClubCorp, he founded TeksInc, an IT company, helping clients with their business challenges in systems, processes and people. After selling the company in 2019, Darren earned certifications and has a successful executive and leadership team business coaching and consulting practice.  His experience in the corporate, small business, entrepreneur, and business ownership capacities along with various other leadership roles gives him a comprehensive effectiveness in helping businesses and organizations resolve business issues, grow revenue, scale up, and reach their goals and maximum potential.  He is also a partner and CEO of Centerpoint Connect Software, owns and helps operate In The Pattern Flight School and Aviation Services in Denton, Texas, and has a real estate investment business.

Darren believes in building genuine relationships and is committed to involvement in the community.  A member of the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce for more than two decades, Darren has served in several leadership roles including Chairman of the Board of Directors.  He also sat on Addison’s Bond Issue and Census Committees and was appointed to the Board of Zoning Adjustment.  He is a graduate of both the 2021 Addison Citizens Academy and Leadership Metrocrest class of XX (2008).

Outside of work, Darren enjoys time with family and staying involved with his church and community. He and his wife LaNita have been married for 32 years and are the parents of two young adults – Sarah and Brandon and their rescue dog Sadie.  In his spare time, Darren enjoys running, cycling, and weightlifting.  He holds his private pilot’s license and enjoys flying for business, pleasure, and non-profit events.
