• Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Increase - The Town of Addison, Texas will hold a public hearing on a proposal to increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in the preceding tax year by 13.17 percent.  The public hearings will be held on August 19, 2008, 7:30 p.m., and August 26, 2008, 6:00 p.m., Town Hall Council Chambers, 5300 Belt Line Road.

• Restaurant Smoking Policies - Addison offers the widest choice of dining experiences in North Texas. Customers can choose from more than 100 restaurants that are smoke free. Approximately 75 other restaurants allow smoking in the interior areas of the building. Virtually all restaurants with outdoor dining allow smoking in these areas.
