Getting to Addison and to Surrounding Areas
  
Addison is located 13 miles north of downtown Dallas, 16 miles northeast of the DFW airport, 11 miles north of Love Field Airport and, for charter and private planes, there is the convenience of flying right into the Addison Airport.  With world-class shopping, excellent restaurants, friendly people and beautiful spaces,


What to see and do in Addison!!

  • Cavanaugh Flight Museum.  The museum restores, operates, and displays historically-significant, vintage aircraft; and collects materials related to the history of aviation.  Mon-Sat: 9-5; Sun: 11-5.
  • Mary Kay Museum.  In 1963, Mary Kay Ash set out to build a company that would allow women unlimited career opportunities and reward them for their successes.  Explore the history of Mary Kay Inc. and how it progressed from a tiny storefront to an international company.  Mon-Fri: 9-4:30.  For guided tours call 972-687-5720.
  • WaterTower Theatre.  This intimate theatre began in 1996 with 136 subscribers.  Today, with over 2000 subscribers and a budget of $1.1 milliion, it consistently earns rave reviews in The Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Dallas Observer, and other local publications.  Enjoy a night at the theatre!
  • Tour Addison Circle.  Learn about the huge Blueprints sculpture, the multi-use highrises, the parks, the architecture and the history of one of the most innovative urban plazas in the country.  Take a virtual stroll or see it in person.
  • In and about Addison.  Click here for a map of Addison showing locations of restaurants, hotels, and points of interest.  Don't be put off by the "clutter" on the map.  There's so many places to see and things to do, we had a hard time getting them all on the map!

Restaurant Smoking Policies - Addison offers the widest choice of dining experiences in North Texas. Customers can choose from more than 100 restaurants that are smoke free. Approximately 75 other restaurants allow smoking in the interior areas of the building. Virtually all restaurants with outdoor dining allow smoking in these areas. In order to assist you in finding the restaurant that best meets your needs Addison provides a list of restaurants and their smoking policies.
