Nancy Cline, Director of Public Works

Nancy Cline, Director of Public Works, began working at the Town of Addison on June 13, 2005.  Following graduation, Nancy began working for the City of Dallas from 1986 to 1990.  From 1990 to 1998 Nancy worked as an engineering consultant in the Beaumont Texas area.  Nancy accepted the job of Assistant Director of Public Works at the City of Carrollton in 1999 and worked there until 2005. 

Nancy received her Bachelor of Science - Civil Engineering in 1984 from Texas A&M University.  Her Master of Engineering - Civil Engineering degree was received in 1986 from Texas A&M University.

Nancy is a Board of Trustees member of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District (2005 - present); member of the Texas A&M University Civil Engineering Advisory Council; and is past President-Elect of the Texas Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers.  Nancy's awards include the Edmund Friedman Young Engineer Award for Professional Achievement - 1993 (National ASCE award), Service to People Award - Texas Section ASCE - 2006, Texas Society of Professional Engineers - Young Engineer of the Year - 1992, and Institute of Transportation Engineers - TexITE (Texas Institute of Transportation Engineers) Outstanding Student Award.
