Cavanaugh Flight Museum Capital Project Summary

Project Summary: This project consists of developing a design plan to include site identification and acquisition for a new facility to house a vintage aviation collection currently in four (4) hangars on Addison Airport. Once the initial planning phase of this process is complete, actual construction of a museum facility would occur.

Funding: This project is estimated to cost a total of $6,000,000 and will be funded from the Hotel/Motel fund.

Hurdles: Determining the best site for the new facility. Negotiating a potential agreement with the collection owner.
