Passion Hayes, Director of Human Resources

Passion Hayes, Director of Human Resources, began working for the Town of Addison on January 29, 2008. Prior to her employment with the Town, Passion worked in various local government organizations including Denton County, the City of Denton and the City of Fort Worth.  She has over fifteen years of human resources experience with specialization in training and employee relations.
 
The Human Resources department supports the Town of Addison by hiring good people and then providing tools, training and support to turn them into great employees!  During Passion's tenure with the Town, she has developed and implemented its first in-house training program - the Addison Training Academy (ATA).  The ATA is a comprehensive in-house formal training program which includes soft skill development and communication curriculum.  In addition, she developed and implemented an orientation program to not only welcome new employees into the organization but also to ensure the transfer of organizational culture of the Addison Way to new hires.  

Passion is a proud graduate of the University of North Texas where she received a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a Masters of Public Administration.  She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Society of Human Resources Management.
 
Passion is a member of several premier human resources organizations including the Texas Municipal Human Resources Association, Dallas Human Resources Association, Society of Human Resources Management and the International Personnel Management Association.
