Live-Fire Drills

The Addison Fire Department participated in its annual live-fire drills for all personnel in June at the Collin County Community College fire training facility in McKinney. Live-fire drills provide a safe environment for personnel to brush up on basic firefighting techniques, maintain proficiency and learn the latest firefighting skills. This hands-on training allows firefighters to experience heat and smoke conditions similar to actual fires, but in a controlled environment with instructors for guidance.
