Annual Smoke Detector Battery Replacement Program

One of the many wonderful benefits Addison has to offer to its residents is the Annual Smoke Detector Battery Replacement Program. Each year in October, members of the Addison Fire Department will visit single family dwelling homes in Addison to replace old smoke detector batteries with new batteries. We furnish the batteries and a ladder, if necessary, for those hard to reach detectors. Residents should expect to receive their letter in September to schedule an appointment to take advantage of this free service.
