A Certified Public Accountant by education, Don was the founder and CEO of a Real Estate Investment Trust listed on the New York Stock Exchange until it was sold in 2000.   As an entrepreneur and businessman, he has also founded and served as Chairman of a number of other technology and service companies.  Don has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the WaterTower Theatre in Addison; a Trustee of DePauw University; the past Chairman of the Dallas Chapter of the World Presidents Organization; the past Vice-Chairman of the Town of Addison Planning and Zoning Commission; a member of the international Chief Executives Organization; a member of the Addison Business Association and served on the Executive Committee of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Society.  

Don graduated from the Town of Addison Citizens Academy in 1998 and is in the Leadership Metrocrest 2008-2009 class.

Mr. Daseke received his B.A. from DePauw University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.

Don and his wife, Barbara, have three children and four grandchildren.  They have lived in Addison since 1997.
